Summer is officially here with the return of the beach to West Bromwich and a whole host of free fun that will keep the kids entertained right through the summer holidays!

New Square is bringing the holiday vibes with its very own beach locate in Cinema Square from Monday 20 July-Sunday 30 August, so the grown-ups can chill on the deckchairs while the kids get busy with buckets and spades making their own sandcastle creations.  Parents and guardians can post a photo of their day out Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #NewSquareBeach for the chance to win a £50 gift card for their favourite store at the shopping centre. There’s free face painting every Wednesday 11am-4pm while the beach is here to add to the fun!

There’s also some extra special free events on selected days to make the summer holidays even more special!

To Infinity and Beyond – Tuesday 11 August 11am-4pm

Get ready to set off into the galaxy with Buzz and his friends for a free day of intergalactic excitement including crafts, face painting, glitter tattoos and more!

Crazy Golf – Friday 28 August 11am-4pm

What says summer holidays more than a round of crazy golf with the family?  Try out your best shots with 9 holes of fun and see which of you can come out on top! The event is being brought to New Square in partnership with West Bromwich Town BID.

After some family time down on the beach, head over to our family friendly fairground rides to complete the seaside feel, with a donation from each ride going to New Square’s partner charity, The Albion Foundation, supporting families in need throughout the area.
