Summer Fun at New Square

New Square is bringing back the fun this summer with the return of its very own beach to West Bromwich until 5 September!

Every day throughout the school holidays visitors can come along for free to enjoy a sandy beach, complete with deckchairs and bucket and spades for kids to play in, while the grown-ups sit back and enjoy the sunshine. Parents and guardians can post a photo of their children’s sandcastle creations to Facebook using the hashtag #NewSquareBeach for the chance to win a £50 gift card for their favourite store at the shopping centre.

There’s also some extra special free fun on selected days to bring the seaside to life!

Wednesday 11 August – Half hour sessions at 12.30pm, 2pm and 3pm. The Noisy Seagulls will be out and about the centre creating laughter and fun wherever they go. Make sure they don’t steal your chips!

Tuesday 17 August – Half hour sessions at 12.30pm, 2pm and 3pm. New Square’s very own lifeguards, the Beach Patrol, will be patrolling the centre and making sure everyone is obeying their (very unique!) rules.

After some time spent chilling on the beach there’s fairground rides for the whole family to enjoy, including a carousel, bouncy castle, water zorbs and bungee trampolining! The Summer Fun event supports New Square’s Charity of the Year, The Kaleidoscope Plus Group, with a donation from the cost of each ride and fairground game going to the charity.
