URGENT SCAM WARNING FOR WEST BROMWICH RESIDENTS

We have been made aware of a man knocking at a door saying he’s from Customs & Excise and Trading Standards.

The incident happened on Slaithwaite Road, West Bromwich, B71 at 12.30pm today.

The man is described as white, 5ft8”, short darkish hair, moustache, medium build, black clothes and using a mobile.

This man does not work for Sandwell Trading Standards and this could be a distraction burglary or rogue trader tactic.
